Results of the implementation of the project ``Bird Corner''

on 25 May 2016, a picnic was held in Błonie, during which pupils from Primary School No. 2 in Błonie and residents of the Błonie municipality jointly planted 130 shrubs, 30 trees, 30 honey plants and a flower meadow was sown.

30 nesting boxes for birds were hung and marked with information signs. A drinker, feeder and pollinator hotel were also installed.

During the picnic, an ornithologist was present to talk about bird life and supervise the work. Everyone had the opportunity to assemble a birdhouse with their own hands.

Proper planting was supervised by experts from the 'Meadow' Foundation and nature teachers.

The event was attended by 55 pupils from Primary School No. 2 in Błonie.

The picnic was preceded by theoretical classes with an ornithologist organised at the school.
