The aim of the project is to increase the participation of young farmers in the implementation of sustainable agriculture development initiatives and to raise the knowledge and awareness of students and teachers from agricultural schools on rational water management in agriculture, in particular to increase water availability, reduce pollution from agricultural sources and promote mitigation and adaptation to climate change.
IMPLEMENTED ACTIVITIES:
Handbook entitled "Protection of water resources and rational water management in agriculture in the context of climate change" in a print run of 5,000 copies and shipped to 200 educational entities (agricultural schools, libraries and KCER).
Conference for 50 teachers from agricultural schools "Protection of water resources and rational water management in agriculture in the context of climate change" (9-10 march 2023 in Warsaw):
Film contest for students entitled "Good agricultural practices and the protection of water":
First place was won by students from the School Complex of the Agricultural Training Centre in Nakło Śląskie with the film "The Agriculture of the Future".
Second place ex aequo went to students from the John Paul II School Complex of the Agricultural Training Centre in Brzostek with the film "The Problem of Agricultural Practice", and students from Technical School No. 2 in Chojnice with the film "Liquid Gold".
